This will be the first Christmas holiday that I won’t be spending in my country of birth and with blood family…and I’m not entirely sure how I should be feeling. But I do know that I love and adore my chosen family, community and that Berlin is home to me.
I’ve never had so much fun and joy in decorating a tree.
