Today I turned 50, a milestone I didn’t think that I would reach, or really even wanted to reach…the pain (physical and emotional), sadness and loneliness that I had felt for the first 45 years of my life was becoming  just too unbearable. I’m so thrilled that I ‘hung in’ there, because my life now is so full of amazing people and experiences, that I feel like a child in a lolly shop…that is overwhelmed by all the choices in front of her!

I couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate, than to have a pampering rope session with my beautiful, nurturing and incredibly talented friend Caritia, which left me feeling so relaxed…that I fell asleep by the end!

I finally had the opportunity to meet Petra Joy in real life…at the Berlin Porn Film Festival. It was a pleasure and honour to be invited to the (S)he Comes Pre Premiere Party…meeting the fabulous cast and attending the premiere with them. We also celebrated the 10th Anniversary of ‘Petra Joy’ and that we both turned 50 this year. Winning the 2012 Petra Joy Award started me on my new journey in life, her ongoing support and encouragement a contributing factor for me being where I am now…in a very exciting, fulfilling and happy time of my life!

Petra invited me to meet up again, this time to her home in the U.K. We spent some time filming an interview with me, and another with the both of us…and the rest of the time, just getting to know each more. I’m looking forward to our meeting again, for personal and work adventures!                                    

 

“Would you like to be a Dark-Side Pussy?”… an invitation like that doesn’t come by often, so my answer was a resounding YES! This invitation was extended to me by Borbála Szente, an incredible performance artist originally from Bukhoro, Uzbekistan and now residing in Berlin.  

A couple of weeks before the performance evening, Claudia Brijbag Fotografie organised for a posse of women to have their pussy’s painted and photographed (including myself), so that the images can be exhibited at the performance, and projected on the wall at the after show party.

What an amazing experience it was to take part in this momentous occasion. Starting early afternoon, I walked with friends for nearly 7 hours, just soaking in the incredible sights and atmosphere of this celebration.
